i'm so glad...
...that you are still alive, jocelyn.
someone died in NS again. and that is just plain depressing. hospital's exist for a reason ya'know? i'm not asking the NS officials to rush everybody to the hospital because of a single cough or sneeze, but please la... use your paternal/maternal/BASIC instincts. the human brain can be a wonderful asset if used properly...
body count: enough for the programme to be scrapped.
how do they even expect the trainees to fully reap the benefits of the programme when there isnt even the most basic necessities at the camp sites? poor security and cleanliness... pffft.
even with the bodies piling up, the government is still insisting that the programme continue. how obstinate can they get? the DPM, who is also the defence minister, hinted that the programme might even be extended to two years. wtf... they are trying too hard.
i'm not taking any chances.
i dont wanna be the 100th casualty.
i dont wanna die... not so soon.
and the worst thing is, they make it such a big issue whenever someone skips NS. it's like they're looking for a fugitive, a terrorist. it's a bit silly when you see such time and resources being wasted on minor issues like this. hello? rural areas in sabah and sarawak need schools! people need organ transplants! corruption! myanmar needs aid! global warming!
i am so happy that at least some DAP leaders are calling for the suspension or even the scrapping of the programme...
nobody deserves to die so young.
